About Jessica
Jessica Condell is the founder of Amaya Wellbeing. Her work is shaped by a long-standing curiosity about how emotional responses and relationship patterns develop over time, and how early relationships and ongoing stress can influence the way people relate to themselves and others throughout life.
She works with adults and children who feel anxious, overwhelmed or disconnected, as well as those who notice familiar patterns repeating in their relationships or inner world. For some, this shows up as difficulty feeling close to others or managing emotional reactions. For others, it may be experienced as loneliness, relational strain or a sense of being stuck. Jessica offers a steady and reflective space to slow things down, make sense of what is happening and begin responding with greater clarity and flexibility.

Jessica brings experience from both community and private practice, alongside senior roles in the mental health and social services sector. Her background includes leading and supporting teams of psychologists and social workers, contributing to domestic and family violence policy, and working with individuals and systems exposed to high levels of stress and trauma. These experiences inform a grounded, nuanced approach, particularly for clients carrying complex or layered stories.

Her work is guided by evidence-based, trauma-informed and attachment-focused frameworks, including Internal Family Systems (IFS), EMDR-informed approaches and nervous-system-informed practice. Therapy is collaborative and tailored, with an emphasis on emotional safety, regulation and meaningful change rather than quick fixes.

At the heart of Jessica’s work is a commitment to respectful, thoughtful and compassionate care. Clients often describe her presence as calm and steady, and value the balance of professionalism and warmth she brings to the therapeutic space.
